Hurrah! After months of incubation, I have finally transferred the images and text from my old site to this one.

I’m thankful for the countless open-source developers whose long hours of hard work have made WordPress available for free to people like me. Now I can update my site on my own rather than relying on a webmaster who knows html. It’s quite liberating, or as I’ve heard it said, “game changing.”

It’s late here in Germany, past midnight, and I’ve been working on this site all day. Time to call it quits.

I’m not even sure what the theme for this new blog will be. For now, I’ll keep it undefined. I want to have one place online where I don’t have to be strategic about what I write.
